just got my first cocker and the 3 way leaks. As far as I can tell the timing is pretty good. I already stripped down the front pneumatics and fixed some hose leaks and re lubed the 3 way however the front oring is still letting air through. My HPR is letting in 300 psi which I believe is too low of a pressure for operating but im just trying to get the leaks resolved before I worry about chrono'in. As far as the LPR goes I tried backing it down a bit more to ensure it wasn't too much pressure causing the leak and that was of no use however with the lube the 3 way is leaking less now.
I guess my real question is where can I get some 3 way rings.. or better yet does anyone have a black 3 way they are looking to get rid of? Mine is in chrome and I would be willing to pay shipping both ways. Don't care what 3 way it is as I will be putting an E1 on the marker in the future anyways just trying to get all the pneumatics working in the mean time so I can mech it out for a few weeks.

as far as I know its a stock black magic 3-way. As you can tell its in fair condition. Minimal scratches and the barbs are slightly beat up but the hoses aren't leaking now (replaced two of them, still have one more to replace) and that is all that really matters =P _________________ http://xtremephaze.com/ |

that is a shocktech 3-way. that is probably the best 3-way available on the market right now for a mech cocker. that looks like my gat when i first got it... i thought someone was screwing around
Edit: drilling a black magic body for eyes.... i have seen people shot in the street for less...... _________________ Olive WGP Karnivor

Lol well I am gonna give it a chance undrilled however I am fairly certain it will end up with a hole in the body unless someone wants to trade me for a blue cocker body already drilled. _________________ http://xtremephaze.com/ |

People still shoot autocockers? Hmm.
If I remember correctly, I think George is pretty good with a cocker. I'd say take it in and see if what you think is wrong is actually wrong. George should have the parts you'll need. _________________ I am incredibly good looking. |

heh.. it just needed o-rings but i sold the 3way anyways. I now have a full E1 setup on her and once I take the time to time her she should be shooting wonderfully.
As far as taking her in to george.. I live in Florida.. I'm just the web guy for around here so I dont think that's a trip I'll be making =P
EDIT * As far as cockers go you have to be joking right?? and with the new reduction to the BPS rule why not play with a cocker.. the advantages of playing with the super guns have been far reduced. I think my next gun is going to be a CCM S6, shouldn't be very hard to keep up with a pump gun now. _________________ http://xtremephaze.com/ |

Hmm. It probably wouldn't be worth the trip. =P
I guess I wasn't joking, hahaha. I haven't even looked at a paintball gun in over a year, and the sport must be changing a lot. I just found out the other day that the NPPL doesn't exist anymore. =/ _________________ I am incredibly good looking. |

yep NPPL collapsed. Paintball fields everywhere are closing left and right and its moving back into the woods and a lot of the blame is being pointed at the super guns pumping out paint so ridiculously fast that you cant convince new people to come into the sport. So now with the rule changes hopefully that will start to turn things around so that new players can get a chance to learn to play before getting murdered out on the field. _________________ http://xtremephaze.com/ |

Bah.
That's the only word that can describe how that makes me feel. I can't afford to play any more, but I don't think I'd ever want to play in the woods again. _________________ I am incredibly good looking. |

aww then you have been playing the wrong way. If you havent been playing different games and playing with the right people you are totally missing out playing in the woods. Its all about the CTF games : drool : _________________ http://xtremephaze.com/ |
