I got bored waiting for my mag parts. Looked at my old spyder victor and said why not. This is what I ended up with.

Spyder Victor/Extra
trillogy pump kit, slotted striker, cut bolt, jb welded valve pin/sanded round

now i have a question, it sputters a little bit after every shot. its not much but i would like to stop it if possible. How would I do that?

I already tried a spring kit and if i go light in the front it sputters more, so it has a heavy spring in the front and stock spring in the rear.

BRAVO!!

Haven't seen one of those in a long time! And it definitely was not as clean!

Cool

Sputters as in... farting? Cocker pumps do that when not tuned properly. If you let go of the handle and fire it, does it still do it?

thanks, i did my research before i did it, and im good with hand tools.

its only a little sputter. maybe lasts a 1/4 of a second if that. but if i let go of the handle the spring just pushes it back forward, someone on another site suggested drilling a hole in the body behind the valve so it vents the left over gas, but i dont want to start drilling holes if there is an easier fix. im going to be at cru this saturday so ill bring it with me to mess around with while i have an unlimited air source. maybe the stock spring is just to strong and it bounces on the valve pin after it hits it. thats the only thing i can think that would cause it.

NDZ makes a nice milled down spyder valve pin. I use that in my spyder.

yeah but the spyder valve pins are milled flat on a side, i need one that is round, so im just going to get the cocker valve and pin to see if that seals it a little better, but i was dry firing it i can hear it bounce a little after the striker hits that pin in the body. so im not too sure if the cocker valve would even help if it is bouncing in there.
